Depending on the size/scale of your wedding, the average Scotland wedding planner typically charges anywhere between £4k – £10, which can take up between 10% – 25% of your overall wedding budget.
The choice is entirely yours and there are pros and cons to each solution. DIY planning is certainly the more cost-effective solution, and allows you the joy of having full control over your big day.
However, a wedding planner will organise everything up until the big day and often has a list of all the best local wedding vendors to make your day as magical as possible.
While the two have similarities, one key difference separates them: a wedding planner works behind the scenes up until the day of the wedding, while a wedding coordinator will be present on the day making sure all goes to plan.
