With 29 guest rooms, Dalhousie Castle can sleep up to 58 guests (but check with the venue as they may be able to offer additional beds), but ceremonies can be held for up to 100 guests for ceremonies.

Dalhousie Castle offers a number of location options for your ceremony including the Chapel, the Sir Alexander Suite, and the Dalwolsey Lounge. This featured Dalhousie elopement took place in the beautiful Chapel with an owl delivering the rings. Please note that flash cannot be used when the owl is in the room, so you’ll need to make sure your photographer knows what they’re doing!
GETTING TO Dalhousie Castle
Dalhousie Castle and Spa is located just half an hour (by car) outside of central Edinburgh. It’s easy to reach with plenty of parking on site. For those using public transport, it will take about an hour and does require a mile long walk along a road without much of a sidewalk, so I recommend driving when possible.
