The Gatehouse is Borthwick Castle’s getting ready room. This large space is perfect for larger parties and is a beautiful space at the front of the venue.

LOCATION
Located just 30 minutes outside of central Edinburgh, it’s easy to reach by car or private car hire (Uber/taxi). It’s a fantastic choice for couples with guests traveling far, as it’s easy to reach with minimal effort.

ONSITE ACCOMMODATION
Borthwick Castle sleeps up to 28, with 12 bedrooms in the castle, plus the cottage and Gatehouse. Other guests can easily reach the castle and many couples choose to arrange a bus to take guests back to central Edinburgh.
