ADVenture, CREATIVITY, CONNECTION
We’re Alysa and Jack, a husband and wife team based in Edinburgh. I (Alysa) built Wildling Weddings from the ground up, and in 2026 Jack joined me to help out with the admin, bag carrying, and chauffeuring.
I love storytelling, beautiful places, and creating images that feel like you – relaxed, emotional, and full of life. This job lets me combine creativity, connection, and adventure, and I truly can’t imagine doing anything else!

HOW I GOT HERE
I’ve been breaking cameras since I was little (don’t worry – it hasn’t happened in years).
It started with taking pictures of horses at the barn, then portraits, travel, and brand work across the UK. After moving to Scotland, I fell hard for photographing couples (especially in incredible outfits). I’ve been full-time since 2023 after a very intense year of juggling full time photography work alongside my marketing job.
One day I’m hiking mountains while chasing runaway veils and vows, and the next I’m photographing champagne toasts at a luxury estate. I love the contrast – adventure and calm, chaos and quiet editing days on the sofa with the dog. Being trusted to document such meaningful moments is an absolute privilege, and I never take it lightly!

HEADSTANDS, EARLY MORNING DOG WALKS & BOOKs
Jack and live just outside Edinburgh with our rescue lurcher, who keeps life entertaining. We recently moved and finally have a garden! Future plans include lavender and strawberries (although my lack of a green thumb may disagree). I’m a homebody at heart and love early dog walks and books. I love eating more than cooking, but I will bake a cake if needed (it usually ends up with a soggy bottom, sorry Paul Holywood). In the winter, I permanently live in what Jack has dubbed my “Hagrid robe” – a full body fuzzy robe like thing with a hood.

YOGA LOVER
I love yoga (working on pincha and tripod headstands!)
ROMANTASY BOOKS
I HAVE AN extremely cosy hands-free Kindle setup
PUZZLE STARTER
I start puzzles with enthusiasm and rarely finish them.
