Considered Glasgow’s ‘hidden jewel’, 1599 at the Royal College is an exquisite function room brimming with historical charm and is kitted out with period features.
Featuring an in-house catering team that specialises in exceptional cuisine created from fresh, local produce, 1599 can put on a delicious spread while housing the ceremony, the meal, and the reception all under one roof.
You will be given exclusive access to the 1599 building, as well as the use of the College Hall, the Princess Alexandra Room, and the Lower Library. For those wanting a summer wedding, this venue also features access to Glasgow’s most beautiful private gardens.

The Caves
What is it?

What is it?
As the name suggests, Edinburgh City Chambers is the meeting place of the city’s council and its predecessors – but don’t be fooled into thinking this is any old boring council building!
This historical (and stunning) building can be found in the heart of the city’s infamous Royal Mile and offers luxury, romance, and city skyline views in abundance.
Unlike many other modern venues, City Chambers is licensed for both religious and humanist ceremonies, including civil ceremonies. And the canapé reception packages are nothing short of a dream!

Loch An Eilean
What is it?
One of Scotland’s many charms is its plethora of gorgeous lochs – all of which are available to tie the knot at, owing to the country’s relaxed laws on outdoor wedding ceremonies.
Although there is no shortage of beautiful, serene lochs to choose from, Loch An Eilean is a little bit special, owing to it having its very own island – which even features the ruins of a castle!

Jupiter Artland
What is it?
Our next unusual venue is a woodland and indoor gallery that also happens to be spread over 100 acres of gorgeous meadowland.
Founded in 2009 by philanthropist art collectors, Robert and Nicky Wilson, this venue features the works of over 30 permanent and site-specific sculptures from artists across the globe, combining artistic expression with glorious countryside.
As for the venue itself, couples can indulge in the delectable Bonnington House, which is a mere 25-minute journey from Edinburgh city centre.
