These photos are works of art! We had such a wonderful experience with Alysa, who is easy to work with, engaging, and incredibly talented! We eloped in Scotland and wanted to capture the day that we exchanged our vows in order to share with family/friends, and Alysa exceeded our expectations. She gave great direction and made us feel comfortable having our photos taken, and it honestly felt like having a long-time friend there with us. The result was a truly breathtaking series of photos, absolutely beautiful!

We had planned a very small wedding in Edinburgh and as we are from in the South of England, we had no local contacts to use (it was also a secret so we couldn't even ask friends for recommendations!!). We did some Googling and research on Instagram and came across Alysa. Straight away we fell in love with her style of photos - they were very natural and authentic and didn't look overly posed. She manages to capture the special moments which translate beautifully in a photo. I messaged her and she came back straight away with details, pricing etc and we set up a Zoom call to chat through our ideas. It was a pleasure to have Alysa at our wedding and she made the whole thing so relaxed. She was very patient as we were also dealing with a tired 2 year old! Alysa has exceptional knowledge of all the best spots in Edinburgh and was so understanding of when we felt like we'd captured 'enough' - it felt -10C and I was walking in sandals!!! Alysa (Wilding Weddings), apart from my husband, was the MVP of the wedding day! Alysa coordinated and was the photographer for my 3 day(!) wedding, and she was incredible from start to finish. Alysa was delightful in every way, and went above and beyond. She was on hand in the lead up to the wedding and my go to women on the day! I cannot thank Alysa enough for making our special day so wonderful. She was organised, diligent and kind which made the coordination a pleasure rather than a chore. She also did the photography for the three days and I could not have asked for more - she made everything smooth and enjoyable! She listened and advised ahead of the day, and executed with perfection on the day.  The end product of the photo albums far exceeded my expectations, and she captured the day beautifully. Alysa captured our day exactly as we had hoped, she really understood the shots we were looking for, and gave gentle direction without making things feel unnatural. Our guests all commented on how lovely she was, and we were absolutely blown away when the images came through. Alysa is amazing! I am also a photographer, so I'm always uncomfortable in front of the lens. She made me and my husband feel right at home, and it was so easy to have fun! We were visiting, and she suggested a beautiful location (St. Anthony's Chapel Ruins). We had never been there, so she sent us a handy map that we used a few times to make sure we were going in the right direction. 10/10 experience, and I can't wait to do it again! While we only did a short session, her energy and direction are top notch, and I can tell you she will be awesome for your wedding day.

What an incredible experience it was with Alysa! Months before the shoot she was able to provide location suggestions for us, as we were visiting Edinburgh for the first time. She was attentive and communicative the entire process. She immediately knew the tone and aesthetic we were going for and was able to guide us in the right direction. The day of the shoot, she chose an easy to find location to meet up. Right away, her presence was warm and friendly. We immediately felt comfortable and even during a short shoot we felt at ease and were able to try a variety of concepts! We are normally fairly self conscious in front of the camera, but due to Alysa, this shoot was FUN. It was a great romp around old Edinburgh! The results? I was travelling from India and came across Alysa's website. Her communication from the beginning was on point and the replies were always prompt. She understood really well how I wanted the portraits to be and she did a wonderful job with that. She was very friendly at the day of the shoot and she was very easy to work with and fun as well. I become a little self-conscious with certain poses but it was very comfortable working with Alysa and the entire photoshoot was very engaging and well thought out by her. Alysa did the photography for our elopement wedding in Edinburgh in August 2024. We found her on Instagram and loved her style. Alysa was very helpful and quick to respond to any queries leading up to the date, and the booking system was really simple. On the day, we found her to be so friendly and calming, as we are both quite awkward with having photos taken, she was able to actually make the experience fun!
