The morning started at 5:30 when I was up and off to Calton Hill. Ben and I had been arranging the perfect time and place for his proposal to Maddie and decided on Calton Hill. I was ready and waiting by 6:15, camera ready, for the couple to walk to the spot where I could capture the moment. The lighting was perfect, soft, and golden on a breezy April morning.
Ben and Maddie walked up and Ben got down on one knee. It was a yes! After that, we had a shoot around beautiful Calton Hill and the images turned out so beautifully!
"I decided to plan my proposal for a surprise trip in Scotland, and was pretty nervous about finding a photographer in another country who could talk me through the area, make location recommendations, and create fantastic photos out of the moment - Alysa did all of that and more.
