Amiliah and her new fiance arrived in Edinburgh and wanted a photoshoot that reflected Edinburgh’s dark history. I’m pleased to say that we delivered and I had so much fun with these two!
It’s always really exciting when people come to me with a unique vision. It means that I think about our route through the city and the way I’ll photograph a bit differently and the results are always exciting.
"What an incredible experience it was with Alysa! Months before the shoot she was able to provide location suggestions for us, as we were visiting Edinburgh for the first time. She was attentive and communicative the entire process. She immediately knew the tone and aesthetic we were going for and was able to guide us in the right direction.
The day of the shoot, she chose an easy to find location to meet up. Right away, her presence was warm and friendly. We immediately felt comfortable and even during a short shoot we felt at ease and were able to try a variety of concepts! We are normally fairly self conscious in front of the camera, but due to Alysa, this shoot was FUN. It was a great romp around old Edinburgh!
The results? A list of absolutely stunning and magical photos that we had such difficulty choosing from.
