Ella and John arrived from the US for their micro-wedding at St. Margaret’s Chapel at Edinburgh Castle. From the first look at the Vennel to the reception at the Gatehouse Suite (and its stellar balcony!) this was an incredible micro-wedding in Scotland.

"My husband, John, and I decided on a planned elopement to Scotland once we were engaged. From there, we were lost as to how to proceed with arranging services overseas. Fortunately in our searching, I found Alysa’s website for Wildling Weddings. From our very first email inquiry, Alysa was easy to reach, a clear communicator, and seemed to inherently understand what it was we were wanting and needing. She was willing to have extra conversations, send helpful tips and information, and kept everything perfectly arranged where we didn’t have to worry about anything. If there’s any testament to how amazing she is, I encountered one of a bride’s worst fears on our wedding day- I lost my wedding ring! Alysa could have simply conveyed her sympathy and wrapped up her work but instead looked through her photos of us, pinpointed the last time she saw the ring, and then WENT AND FOUND IT in the middle of Edinburgh (which in my mind was a needle in a haystack). To add to her wonder, I had first look photos in my inbox the very next morning! In my opinion we were given an angel as well as a wonderful photographer. I cannot tell you enough how grateful we were for her and how lovely our photos are. There is no better choice in Edinburgh!"
